What I asked you for last week was to challenge my team to turn the tables
around- to think in terms of "What can I do to contribute to..." rather than
"What do I have to do? You spoke of Personal Bottom Line, personal ownership,
and perhaps most importantly, Emotional Intelligence - self control, persistence
and self-motivation. It may be difficult, if not impossible, to be able to
measure just how many attitudes changed during your brief time with us, but I
can assure you that it generated a lot of positive energy that we hope to
capture, sustain and grow. You used tangible, real-world examples that everyone
was able to relate to. My only regret is that we didn't spend the whole day on
Entrepreneurial Thinking.
